Paxtang Borough Building
MEETING AGENDA
Effective 01/03/2022, Due to the current COVID conditions, we ask everyone to wear masks when in the borough office areas and with the staff.
Please be advised, the official Leaf Collection Season of Paxtang Borough as advertised, was completed on December 10, 2021. There was a Bonus Yard Waste Collection which included brown bagged leaf collection on December 20, 2021, administered by the Harrisburg City Trash/Recycling Services.
Any leaf piles created after leaf collection was completed on December 10th are the property owner’s responsibility for removal. You may compost the leaves or use them as mulch in your gardens or flower beds. You may NOT burn the leaves or dump them in a green space. You may not place them on the road as that is a Stormwater Violation according to EPA and DEP Regulations, an Illicit Discharge and the offender/property owner could be fined accordingly. If you have a pile of leaves in front of your home on the street, please remove them or you may be subject to a Citation.
Thank you for helping to keep our Borough clean and in compliance!
If you feel sick (cold, cough, fever and/or shortness of breath), we request that you do not enter the building. If you call the office 717-564-4770, we will meet you at the front door to process any necessary paperwork.
